
Submission Guidelines
Thank you for your interest in submitting to Chartium. We are currently closed for submissions.​

General Guidelines
* Submissions must be original, AI usage is prohibited and will result in an immediate rejection.
* Submissions must not include any inappropriate content (hate speech, sexually explicit material, extreme violence, etc.)
* All submissions must be submitted by those between the ages of 13-25.
How To Submit
* We accept issue submissions via email as of July 2024. Please email us at chartium@gmail.com with the subject line [ Issue 02 Submission ]
* Please do not submit more than 3 pieces of work. If submitting more than one piece of work, please submit them together per issue submission period (we will not accept multiple email submissions from one individual)
* Please title your file submission [email address__piece title__your name]. (e.g., coffee@gmail.com__A Coffee Cup__Sally Smith)
Please note that submissions not adhering to our guidelines will be rejected.

Literary Guidelines
* Please submit your work in Google Docs format (Please do not submit through PDF/Word format)
* Word count: No more than 3,000 words.

Artwork Guidelines
* Submit high-resolution digital images in .jpg format.
​
Film Guidelines
* Submit high-resolution videos or film (MP4 or MOV).
* Video duration should not exceed 30 minutes.

Music Guidelines
* Submit music in MP3 or WAV format.
* Music duration should not exceed 5 minutes.

Responses
- If your submission is accepted, we will notify you via email with any necessary editing or formatting requirements from our editors. Rejected submissions will be notified later via email with feedback provided on their work. Feedback from our editors will be provided on every submission, regardless of an acceptance or rejection.

Rights
- All rights to the work remain with the creator. After initial publication in Chartium, you are free to publish or showcase your work elsewhere, but please acknowledge our magazine as the original place of publication (we receive First Serial Rights).
- If your submission has been accepted elsewhere, please let us know and we will withdraw your submission.

* There is no submission fee, and everyone is invited to submit their work free of charge. All submitted works will not be paid. All of our issues will be free to view online as well.
